Donation goals and campaigns
How are the donation goals selected, and by whom?
Our team selects the donation projects carefully. We support social and environmental initiatives whose work we know personally and have vetted — from the food banks in Cologne and Düsseldorf to Women for Justice in Shingal (Iraq) and the Omid Online School for girls in Afghanistan (together with the Filippas Engel foundation). You will find a current overview on our Donation Goals page.
Can I choose which donation goal the proceeds of my deposit support?
Yes – as a partner, you are welcome to tell us which of our donation goals is closest to your heart. If you leave it open, we distribute the proceeds across our current projects.
Where exactly do my donations go?
The proceeds go 100% to our current donation goals – social and environmental projects in Germany and abroad. We present all projects transparently on our Donation Goals page.
How do I know my help arrives?
The organizations and projects we support are carefully selected. We stay in close contact with them and report regularly on progress – on our website and our social media channels.

How much work is left for us as a business?
Set up the container and let us know when it is full. Redeeming the deposit, settling the accounts and passing on the donation are handled by us.
Do you also collect at our location?
The initiative is active throughout Germany. Simply state your location when ordering — we will then arrange pickup for your region. For events we can also provide staff on site for the entire duration.
What does pickup cost?
Nothing. Picking up the collected deposit is free of charge. The only one-off costs are the container itself and, if you wish, the advertising wrap.
Do we get something we can show?
Yes — the cooperation seal for your own communications, plus material in the partner download area.

What exactly are the dimensions of the deposit container?
The bottle collection container is 1,800 mm high with a diameter of 580 mm and holds 210 litres. It is made of LLDPE, a robust plastic suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Matching 210-litre deposit sacks are available separately, as is a locking system.
Is the container also available for glass bottles, cans or cups?
The bottle deposit container is designed for PET bottles, not for glass. There are separate versions for cans and for reusable cups — at events with reusable cups, the cup deposit container is the right choice.
Why €449.50 — there are deposit containers online for €30?
Because those are two different things. For €30 you get a household bin or a collection sack for your own kitchen. This is a commercial collection unit: 1.80 m tall, 210 litres, made of LLDPE, with an advertising surface wrapped in your own design — and with a pickup service that costs nothing on an ongoing basis. On top of that, the proceeds from the collected deposit go entirely to donation projects. Anyone who just wants a container is better off at the hardware store. Anyone who wants a visible collection point for guests will find nothing comparable under €400.
Does the container arrive with our logo on it?
The wrap is a separate item and is not included by default. You can start with the standard wrap or order a custom wrap in your own design — you send us your logo and colours after ordering, and the initiative takes care of the design.
