Kölner Tafel food bank
“Rescuing food. Helping people.” Rescues surplus food and distributes it to people in need in Cologne.
Düsseldorfer Tafel food bank
Collects surplus food from retailers and producers and passes it on free of charge to low-income people and families.
Omid Online School
"Omid" means "hope": Afghanistan's first online school enables girls from grade 7 onwards to receive the education the Taliban regime denies them – free of charge, run by dedicated female teachers, all the way to supporting their transition to university. We support this project in cooperation with the Filippas Engel Foundation.
Naturschutz2go
Old chewing gum and condom vending machines are turned into seed dispensers filled with regional, insect-friendly seeds – many of them set up together with children and young people. Jonte Mai's multi-award-winning idea has already spread to Austria, the Netherlands and France.

Mentoring for young people from difficult backgrounds: the association founded by Michael Linke connects teenagers with role models who provide guidance and open doors – leading to internships, university places, scholarships and new perspectives.
